THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN THE CARIBBEAN

It is no secret that the Caribbean has an abundance of idyllic beaches. Approximately 7,000 islands make up the Caribbean, which means there are more beaches than you can count. However, not all beaches are the same. Some are known for their off-shore snorkeling and scuba diving, while others are better suited for families. Depending on how you like to spend a day at the beach, there is most certainly a Caribbean beach for you. With so many to choose from, I’ve selected my all-time favorite beaches in the Caribbean.

Shoal Bay, Anguilla

Anguilla hands-down has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. It’s hard to pick just one, but Shoal Bay is undoubtedly near the top of the list. The soft, powdery white sand is flanked by crystal clear water on one side and local eateries and bars on the other.

Darkwood Beach, Antigua

If your ideal beach is a remote escape from reality, then Darkwood Beach is just the place for you. While Darkwood beach is completely undeveloped (there’s not a single building on it!), it is still easily accessible by boat.

Dos Playa, Aruba

Protected by a jagged limestone coast, the two coves of Dos Playa are pure bliss. Accessible on foot, these beaches are a popular spot for surfers. Soak up the sun as you watch locals try to catch the perfect wave.

Anegada, British Virgin Islands

Colorful coral reefs and secluded sandy beaches are bountiful on Anegada. For snorkelers and scuba divers, explore the numerous British and Spanish explorer ships wrecked around the reefs.

Playa Rincon, Dominican Republic

Stretching five miles, secluded from resorts and hotels is Playa Rincon. This pristine and award-winning beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Arriving at the beach is half the fun as it is best to access it by ATV.

Crane Beach, Barbados

Crane Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Barbados. Known for its pink-hued sand, rugged cliffs, and clear water, it is easy to see why people love to spend a day at this beach.

La Sagesse, Grenada

Like something out of a movie, the La Sagesse is a Caribbean paradise. This half-mile beach is backed by a dense forest with coconut palms that help set the scene. Tucked beneath the trees are rustic restaurants serving fresh seafood for the perfect lunch with a view.
